Give the Gift of the Truth
The long awaited date for the upcoming An Injection of Truth: Healing Humanity Town Hall has been finalized for Monday, March 3, 2025.
Our next edition of An Injection of Truth is based on four pillars of healing: Acknowledge that there is a problem; Understanding the source of suffering; Emotional healing for those suffering; Making yourself whole.
Our vision is to illuminate a path to the truth. As we take this path, we invite you to join us as we discover together. How can we heal humanity after the pain suffered over the past 4 years?
Buy a ticket for a friend, encourage your neighbour to host a viewing party, donate to support the work of UCP Calgary-Lougheed Constituency Association, or become a Friend of Calgary-Lougheed.
If you chose to roll forward your tickets from October, you don’t need to do a thing – Just share our message to encourage more courageous friends and neighbours to join our conversation.
Joining our team of educators and experts are six outstanding individuals: Dr. Denis Rancourt, Dr. David E. Martin, Dr. David Speicher, Dr. Byram Bridle, Dr. Joanny Liu, and Mr. Shawn Buckley.
Join us.

Dr. Byram W. Bridle
Dr. Bridle is an Associate Professor of Viral Immunology in the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Guelph.
He is passionate about improving life through two avenues of research. One arm of his research program is dedicated to designing and optimizing novel biotherapies for the treatment of cancers. The goal of his research team is to harness the natural power of a patient’s immune system to eliminate their own cancer cells. This represents the ultimate personalized therapy and holds the potential to treat cancers more effectively, safely, and at lower cost than current options.
The second arm of his research program focuses on studying host responses to viruses and other inflammatory stimuli. This has implications for the treatment of infectious diseases and inflammation-mediated disorders. These two programs have been unified in a unique way.
The Bridle lab is harnessing their expertise in making potent cancer vaccines and combining this with their interest in anti-viral immunity to develop vaccines to protect against infectious diseases such as those caused by highly pathogenic coronaviruses. Mentoring the next generation of Canadian scientists is a responsibility that Dr. Bridle takes very seriously.
